Healthier, Happier, Philosphy

I created this blog because I love sharing healthful information I’ve researched, lifestyle choices that improved my health, and of course my favorite foods! My goal is to display a fun and approachable way for everyone to enjoy being healthy. I’m still learning so I would never advise anyone to follow my diet or any other specific diet. One recommendation I will give you is to embrace a healthful relationship with yourself, the people around you, life and to create your own journey through health. Because our bodies require different attention, and once you figure out what you need to feel your healthiest then you’re all set. That my dears is beautiful! I believe that we can all be healthy with a little dedication, support and most importantly a positive attitude! I wasn’t always enthusiastic about my own health which led to negative feelings and becoming very ill. It wasn’t until my physical and mental health took a turn for the worse when I realized it was time for a change. Faith, family and drive are the three things that motivated me to take  better care of myself. It took time but, within a few months I began to see changes, became more positive and began to love the body that God gave me. My desire is to help people see the importance of listening to their bodies and value the beautiful things life has to offer. One bite, one step, and one smile at a time. Thank you for seeing my blog and hope that you all have a great day!

  1. Hi! I’m Sue, and I’m from SlimKicker, a diet/fitness app and online website. I came across your blog a few days ago and it captured my interest!

I’m contacting you b/c we’re about to release a fitness tracker (similar to FitBit) early next year, and are looking for bloggers who would be interested in receiving 1 for free to review when it is out (negative or positive).

Would you be interested in doing this? You can email me at: sue (at) slimkicker (com) with ‘Review’ in the email heading if you are.

For your info, our online website SlimKicker basically turns your diet/fitness goals into a level up game. The tracker will work with the website, and allow people to track calories burned and number of steps they walk automatically. The more they exercise, the more points they rack up! That’s basically how it will work.

Anyway, hope to hear back either way…

    – Sue
